At very least read  the preoperative section. Although to those outside we seem under little constraint (hence the excellence) we do have rules - lots & lots of rules.  But, they are mostly  rules of expectation of excellence and caution. So yes we can & do cancel surgery for sunburn . . .      If female, yes, a pregnancy test . . .        Like that.
